About Us

JT Foundation
Advocating for an inclusive Greater Manchester for children with cerebral palsy.

Every day, we champion the rights and needs of children with cerebral palsy across Greater Manchester. We empower parents and carers with clear information, practical resources, and steadfast support—ensuring no family ever feels alone on their journey.
children thrive.

We dream of a Greater Manchester where every child with cerebral palsy is fully included and empowered. Our vision is for every community park to feature accessible swings, for all children to benefit from modern hydrotherapy pools and specialist school facilities, and for every child in a wheelchair to play, learn, and thrive without barriers.

Compassion: We listen, understand, and stand by every family.

Service: We go the extra mile to meet the needs of our community.

Support: We are a reliable source of help, guidance, and encouragement.

Our Inspiration

Jerome T. Phikiso, who lives with Level 5 cerebral palsy, is the heart of our foundation. His ever-present smile inspired his parents, Felix and Faith Phikiso, to become passionate advocates for children with cerebral palsy in Greater Manchester.

The turning point came when Felix and Faith watched Jerome long to play on a swing at Heaton Park, only to find there were no accessible options. That moment sparked their commitment to creating inclusive spaces and opportunities—so that children in wheelchairs can play, connect, and be understood by their peers.

Our Commitment

We are dedicated to providing parents and carers with the help they need and the support their children deserve—today, tomorrow, and always.

Our Strategy

Founded in 2025, JT Foundation is a county-wide advocacy charity working tirelessly to bridge the gaps in equipment and services not covered by statutory provision. Our work is made possible by the generosity of partners and supporters who share our vision for a more inclusive Greater Manchester.

Our Hope

It is Jerome’s sincere wish—and ours—that Greater Manchester becomes a beacon of inclusion, where children with cerebral palsy are embraced by their communities and have access to the quality services and support they need to flourish.
